Berman Condemns Hamas Rocket Attacks into Israel
Washington, DC – Congressman Howard L. Berman, the top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, made the following statement in response to reports of rocket attacks by Hamas from the Gaza Strip into Israel:
“I condemn in the strongest possible terms Hamas’ recent rockets attacks from the Gaza Strip into Israel and I support Israel’s right to defend itself at all times. Responsible world leaders should take note that visits to Gaza like the one just completed by the Emir of Qatar only serve to embolden the Hamas terrorist organization to commit egregious acts of violence against Israel. ”
